WBPC 2019 Abstract #31

The Envirolock System is a flexible Pipeline Leak Containment System designed to protect the environment from leaks in pipelines and to protect the pipeline from the environment. Installed in the trench before the pipeline, the containment system encapsulates the pipeline and incorporates the local backfill into the system. Once installed, the pipeline leak containment system acts as a physical barrier to leaks, especially the troublesome small leaks (valves, pinholes etc.) that leak for extended periods of time. The Envirolock System incorporates leak detection and cathodic protection along with containment to offer the most environmentally conscious protection available. The environment is as important as our economy and both should have the best protection and support that we can offer, The Envirolock System is that protection and support.
