Peter Hill

Petroleum Research Geologist at Saskatchewan Geological Survey, Ministry of Energy and Resources

Peter Hill is a Petroleum Research Geologist with the Saskatchewan Geological Survey. He graduated from the University of Regina with a B.Sc. degree in Geology in 2008. Peter worked with Hathor Exploration as a uranium exploration geologist in the Athabascan Basin until October 2010. From 2010 to 2012 Peter worked as an exploration geologist with Vale Potash. Peter joined the Geological Survey in 2012 where his current research includes reservoir mapping and characterization in the Mannville Group. In 2018, Peter completed his M.Sc. in Geology at the University of Regina studying the mixed carbonate clastic sediments of the Upper Shaunavon Member.
