Mehdi Mohammadpour

Dr. Mehdi Mohammadpoor is a post-doctoral fellow and sessional lecturer at University of Regina. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in petroleum engineering from Petroleum University of Technology and his Ph.D. in petroleum systems engineering from University of Regina. His research focuses specifically on applications of data-driven technologies in various fields of petroleum engineering. Moreover, he has extensive teaching experience in general and petroleum engineering courses such as numerical methods, engineering economic evaluation, systems management, engineering communication, reservoir engineering, carbon capture and utilization, and reserve evaluation. Dr. Mohammadpoor is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
