Jun Yang is a PhD student from Department of Petroleum Systems Engineering, University of Regina. Mr. Yang majored in Petroleum Engineering at China University of Petroleum (Eastern China), graduating in 2013. After working as an intern technician/assistant researcher in an oil & gas tech company for one year, Mr. Yang joined Dr. Bill Zeng’s research group as a graduate student. Mr. Yang finished his MASc program in 2017, and started his study on PhD degree that fall. Mr. Yang’s current research concerns use of foam for mobility control in unconventional reservoirs, modeling multiphase flow in porous media at micro scale, and understanding mechanisms of EOR methods in tight reservoirs by experimental approach.
