Darcy received a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004. He has since worked for the Power Production Business Unit at Saskatchewan Power Company. For the last 10 years, he has worked on the Boundary Dam Unit 3 Integrated Carbon Capture and Sequestration demonstration project. As part of this project, he was involved and lead the construction and commissioning of SaskPower’s portion of the CO2 pipeline, including the Aquistore injection and observation wells once they were acquired from the Petroleum Technology Research Centre. Once put into operation, he has also been involved with on-going operations of the carbon capture plant and Aquistore injection well, including implementation of the MMV plan for the injection permit.
