Q: Who should attend this conference?
A: The conference attracts delegates from all aspects of the oil industry, including: geologists, engineers, senior oil company executives, landmen, service companies, sales/marketing, software/data vendors, oilfield safety equipment providers, oilfield housing providers, etc.
Q: How many people typically attend this conference?
A: The conference, when hosted in Regina attracts between 500 - 1,200 delegates. Numbers are largely based on activity levels within the oil patch in the Williston Basin and the general economic climate. The goal for 2019 is to attract approximately 700 attendees.
Q: Are there be any events planned for the evenings during the conference?
A: Yes. There is an exciting networking evening planned for May 28, 2019 scheduled from 6:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.
Q: Are all the conference events held in the same building?
A: Except for the Core Workshop, the conference and exhibition are held at Delta Hotels by Marriott. The evening event will be hosted offiste.
Q: There are two times for the Core Workshop (a.m. and p.m.) on May 27, 2019, do I need to attend both sessions?
A: The same presentations will be given at the Core Workshop twice, once in the morning and then again in the afternoon . So, delegates only need to register and attend one of the two sessions.
Q: Where is the Core Workshop held?
A: The Core Workshop is held at the Subsurface Geological Laboratory at 201 Dewdney Avenue East in Regina. If you are planning to attend the Core Workshop, plan to either drive or get a taxi.
Q: When can I register for the 2019 Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Regina?
A: Currently, registration is scheduled to open on December 15, 2018.
Q: Who can register and attend the conference?
A: Anyone with a fully paid registration can attend the conference.
Q: Is identification required to gain admittance to the conference?
A: Yes. A name tag that will be provided at the registration desk to all fully paid registrants and is required for admittance to the conference areas.
Q: I want attend only the exhibition. Is there a reduced registration rate for people that are only visiting the exhibit floor?
A: Yes, we offer an Exhibit Hall Only Pass, which will allow access to the Exhibit Hall only. Holders of the Exhibit Hall Only Pass will not be permitted to attend any of the business conference, technical conference, or netowrking luncheons/evenings.
Q: Can I get a list of attendees for the conference?
A: No. Attendee lists are not made available for this conference.
Q: What is the cancellation policy for the 2019 Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Regina?
A: Cancellation/Refund Policy:
• Cancellations or amendments to registration must be submitted in writing via email or by signing into your registration. Phone requests will not be accepted.
• There are no cancellation refunds. you may however transfer your registration to another person at no cost.
Q: When can I purchase an exhibit booth and/or equipment display space for the 2019 Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Regina?

Q: What is the size of an exhibitor booth?
A: There are several options, inlcuding 8’x8’, 16'x8' and 16'x16'
Q: How many booths will be available for purchase at the conference?
A: We are planning the layout of the exhibit floor based just over 50-60 standard 8'x8’ booths.
Q: Is there a way to have an exhibitor display space larger than 20’x20’?
A: Yes, we can certainly work with you to faciliate a larger space. Please contact EventWorx at (403) 971-3227 or by email at email@example.com for additional information and pricing.
Q: Can I choose my location, or is it assigned?
A: Yes, you can select your own booth location, however space is booked on a first come, first serve basis, with the exception of platinum and gold sponsors. There are key spaces available for these sponsors.
Q: Is there an exhibitor kit for the conference?
A: Yes, an exhibitor kit will be made available prior to the conference to all companies that register and pay in full for an exhibit booth and/or equipment display space.
Q: When can I setup my exhibit booth?
A: Exhibitor setup must be setup between 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm on May 26, 2019 and 8:00 am - 6:00 pm on May 27, 2019.
Q: When can I take down my exhibit booth?
A: Exhibiter move out commences at 5:00 pm on May 29, 2019. All exhibits must be removed by 12:00 pm on May 30, 2019.
Q: Is there any security on-site at the conference facility?
A: Yes. Security will be posted and patrolling the facility 24 hours a day, beginning of exhibitor setup until 12:00 pm on May 30, 2019.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for exhibitors at the 2019 Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Regina?
A: Cancellation/Refund Policy:
• The Exhibitor shall have the right to cancel the license agreement by notice in writing to be delivered to The Organizers no later than one hundred and eighty (180) days preceding the opening date of the Show. All deposits received by The Organizers up to the date of notice of cancellation are non- refundable and non-transferable. In the event that the Exhibitor (i) notifies The Organizers less than one hundred and eighty (180) days preceding the opening date of the Show that it wishes to cancel this license agreement; or (ii) fails to make payments in accordance with the payment schedule set out herein; or (iii) except as otherwise permitted herein, fails to appear at the Show; The Organizers reserves the right to (iv) cancel this license agreement without notice and all rights of the Exhibitor hereunder shall cease and terminate; (v) retain any payment made by the Exhibitor as liquidated damages (and not as a penalty) for breach of this license agreement; (vi) re-rent the said space; and (vii) bring action against the Exhibitor for payment of the full cost of the space originally licensed from The Organizers.

Q: Why is my company required to submit a logo if we are sponsoring the conference?
A: Your company logo is the primary way the conference recognizes your company’s sponsorship. It will be used on signage at the conference and on the website to recognize your company’s level of sponsorship.
Q: What format should I submit my company’s logo so that recognition of my sponsorship can commence?
A: The very best way to submit your logo is in an .eps format file (Encapsulated PostScript). EPS files are preferred since they maintain very high resolution regardless of the scale being used. This is especially important when the logo is used at very large scales. The conference will also accept .jpeg files if they have been saved at 300 dpi or greater.
Q: Why am I not seeing my company’s logo on the website’s sponsor page or scrolling banner?
A: You have either not submitted a logo, it is not submitted in a suitable format, or if you have submitted your logo in a suitable format. It may take up to 48 hours to upload your company logo onto the WBPC website. If you have concerns, please contact EventWorx right away at (403) 971-3227 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Why have I not yet had a response regarding an abstract that I submitted for a presentation at the conference?
A: The Technical Program Committee will contact only those persons whose abstracts have been accepted. EventWorx will let all other people know if they have not been accepted to present.
Q: Will the presentations be available for viewing/downloading?
A: Most of the oral presentations will be made available at http://wbpc.ca/agenda after the conference.
Q: Will my abstract be published?
A: We will publish a program and abstract volume which will include all abstracts accepted for oral and poster presentations. Please ensure that the submitted abstract is publication-ready.
Q: Where can I find previous presentation?
A: Previous presentation is available at http://wbpc.ca/agenda/archived-talks.
Q: Can personnel from the media attend the conference?
A: Media can arrange to attend the conference by contacting email@example.com. Information for media, including how to become a media partner, is available on our website at http://wbpc.ca/information/media.
Q: Are media personnel permitted to interview conference delegates during the conference?
A: Media can arrange to interview certain conference delegates by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Is the facility in which the conference located wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, the conference facility is wheelchair accessible.
Q: Is Wifi available at the facility?
A: Free Wifi connectivity will be available within the exhibit hall.

Q: Do I need to rent a car to get to the conference?
A: You can if you choose to; however, taxi service is also widely available.
