Now in its 27thyear, the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is one of the preeminent gatherings for North America’s energy sector and is co-hosted by the Government of Saskatchewan, the state government of North Dakota, the North Dakota Petroleum Council, Saskatchewan Geological Survey and the Petroleum Technology Research Council. The conference takes place annually in Saskatchewan and North Dakota in alternating years.
The Conference is named after the Williston Basin - a major oil producing region including portions of Saskatchewan, North and South Dakota, Manitoba, and Montana. The conference attracts business, technical and government leaders who come together to share technical advancements and business opportunities specific to the region.
New for 2019, the conference and exhibition will showcase innovations centred around advanced energy systems, advanced technologies, automation, clean technologies, block chain, artificial intelligence and more.
The theme of the 2019 Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is “Saskatchewan Now," an in-depth look at Saskatchewan's energy industry opportunities and homegrown innovations. In 2019 the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference features an executive level business conference featuring a variety of high-profile industry and goverment leaders.
